Certification Framework & Standards The NS-Lab verification and certification system operates strictly in accordance with international standard ISO/IEC 17024 (Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons) and Swiss regulatory compliance frameworks. We are dedicated to ensuring that every certified professional, system, or laboratory report possesses the rigorous theoretical validation and practical expertise required by the industry.

• Scope of Certification: Professional competencies including Advanced Technical Analysis, Laboratory Standards, Systems Compliance, and Swiss Federal Regulatory Assessment.

Certification & Audit Process To maintain the highest level of credibility and Swiss Swiss-quality standards, NS-Lab implements a standardized 4-step evaluation process:

1. Initial Eligibility Review: Verification of institutional or educational background, professional credentials, and minimum industry experience requirements.

2. Independent Examination & Validation: Candidates or systems must pass a comprehensive proctored examination or technical audit with a minimum passing score of 70%.

3. Peer Review & Audit: Application portfolios and validation results are audited by at least two independent, senior evaluators with over 5 years of specialized field experience.

4. Registry & Certification: Upon final approval by the Technical Certification Committee, a unique, encrypted certification/report number is generated and logged into this official verification registry.

Certificate Status Definitions To verify the standing of a credential or report, please refer to the status indicated in your search results:

• 🟢 Active: The certificate/record is fully valid. The holder or system meets all current compliance and ongoing education requirements.

• 🟡 Suspended: The certificate is temporarily invalidated, usually due to a pending periodic review or missing validation updates. A grace period is granted to rectify the status.

• 🔴 Revoked: The certificate has been permanently cancelled due to professional misconduct, submission of falsified documents, or failure to rectify a suspension.

• ⚫ Expired: The certificate has passed its expiration date and requires re-validation or recertification.

Validity & Recertification: NS-Lab certifications are typically valid for a period of 3 years. To maintain an “Active” status, holders must submit required ongoing compliance documentation and apply for renewal at least 60 days prior to the expiration date.

Appeals & Complaints Procedure NS-Lab provides a transparent, legally compliant mechanism to dispute decisions or report violations:

• Appeals: Applicants who wish to contest an evaluation result or a certification denial must submit a formal Certification Appeal Form within 30 business days of the decision.

• Complaints: Stakeholders may file a formal complaint regarding the professional conduct of any NS-Lab certificate holder or validated entity.

• How to Submit: Please download the official form from our resource center and email the completed documentation to our Compliance Committee at info@ns-lab.ch. All cases are acknowledged within 5 business days and resolved within 30 business days.

Registry Registry & Revocation List To safeguard the integrity of our credentials, NS-Lab maintains a public registry of suspended or revoked certificates. Misuse, unauthorized alteration, or forgery of NS-Lab credentials will result in immediate revocation and potential legal action under applicable Swiss law.
